What does a day in the life as a Business Development Representative look like?

šŸ“Responds promptly and professionally to all new business opportunities inquiries via phone, email, or chat šŸ“Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within targeted markets and industries šŸ“Generate high-quality leads through various channels, including cold calling, email, social media and other networking events and platforms šŸ“Evaluate leads and opportunities to determine their fit with the organizationā€™s target client and ensure they meet minimum criteria šŸ“Initiate and maintain meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their needs, challenges and objectives šŸ“Conduct in-depth research to create a solid understanding of the organizationā€™s products/services and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients šŸ“Foster a collaborative environment with clients showcasing partnership, communication and engaging conversations on a frequent basis šŸ“Accurately track and manage sales activities, leads and opportunities in CRM software šŸ“Adheres to company policies and procedures šŸ“Meets or exceeds performance targets for related KPIā€™s Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules šŸ“Collaborates with other departments as needed Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times šŸ“Performs other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications for a Business Development Representative?
